Like waiting for a prom date

Sarah has been on a trip with her father since Sunday. They are due back here any time now. I am sitting here on the couch with butterflies. I haven't felt this anticipation in a while. When Frank and I got married, I was calm. But when Sarah comes home from a trip, I'm all aflutter.

Sarah is off on a trip with her dad until Friday. This is the longest I've been away from her since she was born. sniff sniff. I miss her dearly, but I'm being so very, very productive here at the house. We've gotten pictures from the wedding printed, mounted and hung. We've cleaned, organized, and laid around. We're going out for a movie tonight.
I'm taking the train down to visit my mom and granny tomorrow. They have "Game Night" once a week and I thought it would be fun to join in. The train is cheaper than gas, it's finally happened that mass transit makes more sense.
